Lead Trainer Wes
Essex First Aid and Wellbeing or EFAW was started by Wes. Years working in service sectors such as Lifeguarding (UK and America), Sports Development, Fitness and Wellbeing, Open Water Swimming and the Fire Service, saw him gain the knowledge and understanding for First Aid and Mental Health and Wellbeing.
Serving as a Full time Firefighter since 2006, Wes has been involved in many incidents that have ranged from delivering basic First Aid, to life saving CPR, giving him a wide range of knowledge and experience in the field.
At work Wes is a Mental Health First Aider and has spent the last 10 years helping Open Water Swimmers achieve their goals.
Elaine
Elaine joined the Fire Service in 2005, working here way up to Officer Level. Elaine has also been involved in some of the Major events that have happened. Elaine is one of our trusted trainers with 20 years of Emergency Service experience and over 2 years delivering First Aid.
